Dr. Jeffrey Barzyk is a specialist in gum health, periodontal disease management, periodontal plastic surgery, and implant dentistry. He brings years of advanced training to the care of patients in the Monroe area.
As a board certified periodontist, Dr. Barzyk conducts procedures to protect the teeth and their supporting structures: the gums, alveolar bone, cementum, and periodontal ligament. His work leverages modern techniques and technologies to reduce infection in a conservative and gentle manner.
Beyond gum disease, Dr. Barzyk restores the function and appearance of teeth that patients have lost with bone grafting and dental implants. His procedures as a periodontist help create cosmetically appealing smiles that are comfortable and durable. Patients also rely on Dr. Barzyk’s surgical experience for the extraction of third molars (wisdom teeth removal) and for other oral surgery concerns.
Care with Dr. Barzyk
The biggest requirement of dental treatment is that it must be effective. However, the outcome of a procedure is only part of the value that a provider offers. The experience that you have with your doctor is just as important as the result.
Dr. Barzyk prioritizes the education, comfort, and care of the patients he treats. As part of your periodontist visit to our Monroe-area offices, Dr. Barzyk will conduct a comprehensive examination and take a full medical history. This will allow him to tailor his approach to your individual preferences and needs.
Dental care can be intimidating, even for patients who do not have a lot of anxiety about procedures and treatments. During your appointment, Dr. Barzyk will take the time to present your diagnosis and treatment options in a clear and straightforward manner. You can expect a compassionate and transparent experience—along with high-quality care—at every step in the process.
