An Experienced Oral Surgeon

Dr. Steven Patty is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and the founder of Union Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center. He has completed more than 8,000 dental implant procedures and routinely performs wisdom tooth extraction, surgery for facial trauma, jaw reconstruction, and oral cancer detection and removal.

Whether the aim is restoration or reconstruction, Dr. Patty takes every patient’s goals personally. He has designed his practice to provide the most supportive, least-invasive experiences possible. Dr. Patty is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology. He is a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Patty, originally from Alamance County (NC), is married to Dia Ormand Patty, a native of Monroe. Dia’s father and grandfather both served as physicians in Union County.  Dr. Patty and Dia have two grown children and spend their free time playing water sports, tending to horses, and farming. They can often be found on weekends at Lake Tillery or riding the trails on their horse farm in Union County. Dr. Patty also enjoys golf and playing the banjo. He looks forward to meeting you and providing you with the care you need.
